In the game against RMC Athletico's goalkeeper Andy Clarke invented a new style of tactics whend efending a corner.
Diagram A (Clarke method) shows the new innovation. the goalkeeper faces his own goal and when the ball comes in from the corner he calmly palms the ball into his own goal.
Diagram B (Cech, Buffon, Reina ...etc) is the other school of thought where the goalkeeper faces the field of play and if he cannot catch punches the ball clear.
