History The team was founded in October 2007 after breaking away from Real Madras (also known as "The Scum"). The original spelling was Atletico Madras, however due to an admin error the name became Athletico. Although no honours have been won yet the squad contains 5 players who played for last seasons successfully promoted Real Madras.
